Jeffrey Adelglass, M.D., F.A.C.S., is the founder and president of Research Across America. With more than 20 years of research experience, he has participated in over 1,000 clinical trials in a wide range of therapeutic areas. Dr. Adelglass has served on advisory boards of several pharmaceutical companies, and he is instrumental in conferring with members of these groups on protocol design and development. His research experience and knowledge displays his passion to find medical treatments that will improve people’s lives.
Dr. Adelglass is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has been in private practice for nearly 30 years. In addition to Dr. Adelglass’ medical practice, he is also the co-founder of Skintastic Medical and Surgical Skin Rejuvenation Centers where he performs ground-breaking cosmetic surgical procedures. Dr. Adelglass is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Adelglass believes that people who participate in clinical trials are true heroes because researching today’s medicines will bring tomorrow’s cures.
JOE BLUMENAU, M.D., F.A.A.F.P.
JOE BLUMENAU, M.D., F.A.A.F.P. serves as the Director of Medical Research for Research Across America (RAA) and is a full-time research physician. He has conducted over 100 clinical trials with RAA over the last 13 years. Before directing his full-time efforts to medical research, Dr. Blumenau had a successful and well-established family practice in the North Dallas Area.
His comprehensive experience in all branches of medicine have allowed him to conduct clinical trials in multiple therapeutic areas.
Dr. Blumenau is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners. Research Across America is proud to have such a dedicated and experienced doctor as Dr. Blumenau as its Medical Director.
ALAN FREEMAN, M.D.
Alan L. Freeman, M.D. is a part-time research physician who has served on Research Across America’s Principle Investigator team since January of 2012. During that time, he has overseen many clinical trials while enjoying retirement from his private urology practice that he began in 1974.
Dr. Freeman is a Fellow of the American Board of Urology and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners. It is a pleasure to have him on staff at Research Across America.
RONALD KAPUSTA, M.D.
RONALD KAPUSTA, M.D worked in his private practice as an OB/GYN physician in the North Dallas area for over 25 years. He has been conducting studies with Research Across America (RAA) since 1996 and has served as a research physician on many different types of clinical trials.
Dr. Kapusta is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. He is licensed by the Texas Medical Board and is a member of the American College of OB/BYN. RAA is fortunate to have Dr. Kapusta on their investigator team, as his substantial research experience and dedication to patient care are unparalleled.
JACK DAVID SEIDEL, M.D.
JACK DAVID SEIDEL, M.D. is the Director of Pediatric Research at Research Across America and has conducted dozens of clinical research studies involving children. He has been in private practice specializing in infants, children, and adolescents in North Dallas since 1990. Dr. Seidel is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He has been Chief of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern University Hospital-St. Paul since 1995. In 1997 Dr. Seidel helped found the pediatric nurse triage system for Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and was its medical director from 1997 to 2005. In 2005 Dr. Seidel transitioned the program to Medical City Children’s Hospital where he remains the Medical Director of Pediatric Phone Triage.
Dr. Seidel has been conducting clinical trials in multiple therapeutic areas for infants, toddlers and teenagers since 1995.
Dr. Seidel is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a Diplomat of The American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Seidel’s strong ties in the community show his commitment to improving the quality of healthcare for children. Research Across America is fortunate to have Dr. Seidel as one of our pediatric investigators.
LIONEL M. REIMAN, MD
LIONEL M. REIMAN, MD recently joined the investigative team for Research Across America (RAA) in preparation for increased patient capacity at our Dallas area surrounding satellite office facilities. He previously held a private practice as an OB/GYN physician in Plano, TX for over 38 years.
Upon retirement from North Texas Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates, Dr. Reiman expressed interest in pursuing a part-time research career. RAA’s current research physicians have known Dr. Reiman for several decades and are proud to have him join the network of fellow investigators to oversee trial conduction for various therapeutic areas.
Dr. Reiman is licensed by the Texas Medical Board and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as a member of the Texas Medical Association.
FRANCES BLANTON HERBERT, M.D.
FRANCES BLANTON HERBERT, M.D. worked in the field of Urology in Texas for over 15 years. She began conducting studies with Research Across America (RAA) this year. Dr. Herbert is a member of the American Urological Association as well as the Society for Women in Urology.
She is licensed by the American Board of Urology and the Texas Medical Board. RAA is pleased to welcome Dr. Herbert to their investigator team, as her substantial experience and exceptional patient care are a great asset.
JOHN OSBORNE, MD, PhD, FACC
JOHN OSBORNE, MD, PhD, FACC recently joined Research Across America’s (RAA) investigative research team to conduct cardiology trials through his current practice of Dallas Medical Physician’s Group located in Farmers Branch, TX. He is Board Certified in Cardiology Disease and Internal Medicine. He originally founded State of the Heart Cardiology in 2007 where he received notable community recognition and conducted numerous clinical trials before transitioning to his current physician’s group in 2014.
Considered a national leader in research, Dr. Osborne’s trial experience has resulted in some of the most sophisticated new treatments available throughout the world for cardiovascular disease. He has pioneered the advancement of CT Imaging for early prevention of heart disease and had the only freestanding 256-Slice CT in North America (causing less radiation exposure).
Dr. Osborne’s many accolades include, but are not limited to, recognition by the American Heart Association as the Cardiac Care Provider of the Year in 2002, as well as being voted a Texas Super Doctor in 2006, 2007 and 2010 by Texas Monthly. He obtained his M.D. magna cum laude from Jefferson Medical College and his Ph.D. in cardiovascular physiology from Thomas Jefferson University.
Dr. Osborne has taught at Harvard Medical School, published book chapters and delivered hundreds of presentations nationally and internationally.
