GENERAL MEDICAL STUDIES

• Trial Information: Men and Women between the ages of 18 and 45 interested in an Avian flu vaccine research trial? Purpose of the study:
We are participating in a research study to test the safety and tolerability of an investigational avian flu vaccine. If you are between the ages of 18 and 45 and are interested, call us to be screened for this study. All study related medical care and study related lab work are provided at no cost. If you qualify for the study you may be compensated up to $1000 for your time. Call Research Across America at 972-4-DOCTOR (436-2867)

• BACK SPASMS- If you have been experiencing painful muscle spasms or pain of the lower back for less than 3 days, you may qualify to participate in a 7 day clinical research trial of an investigational medication for this condition (with the possibility of a 7 day extension if the pain persists). You must be 18-70 years of age, and in otherwise good health. This study compares two different doses of the investigational medication as compared to placebo for back pain. • Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema) STUDY- If you experience a chronic recurring, itchy, inflamed rash with lesions, you may qualify for a research study of an investigational ointment for a condition called atopic dermatitis. This skin condition can also be diagnosed as eczema. Qualified participants must be at least 18 years of age with affected areas over 10% of the skin surface. • Do You Have Knee or Hip Pain from Osteoarthritis? Is Your Doctor Treating You for High Blood Pressure? A Clinical Research Study is Available. You may qualify if:
• You are at least 40 years old
• You have been diagnosed by a physician with osteoarthritis of the knee or hip
• You have treated and controlled high blood pressure

• Insomnia Research Study– Do you have trouble staying asleep? Do you frequently wake up in the middle of the night and find it hard to go back to sleep? If you are tired of being tired, consider participating in a research study evaluating an investigational medication to see if it helps with insomnia. If you qualify for this study, you will come to the study center 5 times over 4 weeks with a follow-up telephone call 7 days after your last office visit. PEDIATRIC MEDICAL STUDIES

• Does Your Child Have Allergies? – Research Across America is looking for boys ages 3 to 9 and girls ages 3 to 8 years of age to participate in a research study of an investigational nasal spray for perennial allergic runny nose. To see if your child qualifies for a study-related evaluation and investigational medication at no cost call: 972-4-DOCTOR. Compensation is also available for qualified participants.

WOMEN’S STUDIES

• Diarrhea Predominant Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) for Women – Ladies: do you suffer from loose
bowel movements most of the time? Women 18 to 65 who have diarrhea IBS or alternating IBS may qualify
for this study of an investigational medication. The study is 19 weeks long with 6 office visits and provides up

• Summary: Female Overactive Bladder Study - We are currently recruiting women aged 18 and older for a research study to determine the safety and effectiveness of a new delivery method of an overactive bladder medication. To qualify for the study you must meet the conditions listed below:
• Females, 18 years of age or older
• For at least 6 months have experienced overactive bladder with symptoms of urge incontinence, urgency, and frequency
• Have not had three or more urinary tract infections in the past year
As a qualified study participant, you will receive at no cost:
• Study-related physical and lab exams
• Study drug
• Compensation for your time and travel
