  • Birth Control Research Study Put Away The Pills and Put On An Investigational Patch.  Eligible participants must:
    • Be healthy women, 18-45 years of age;
    • Have regular, consisten menstrual cycles between 25 and 35 days;
    • Have no intention of becoming pregnant in the next 12 months;
    • Be sexually active.

This study is taking place at our Dallas office at 635 @ Webb Chapel.  Call 972-4-DOCTOR (436-2867) for information.

  • Atherosclerotic Plaque Research Study – If you have high cholesterol with plaque build up around the carotid artery, you may be eligible for this clinical research study.  The investigational medication being evaluated converts cholesterol into suitable storage and thus may allow cholesterol to be removed from plaque in the arteries.  Those 18 to 75 years of age who are diagnosed with 16% to 79% carotid stenosis by duplex ultrasound examination may qualify for this study.  Participants would be provided with one of two different doses of the investigational medication or placebo (inactive substance) as well as the FDA approved statin medication Crestor.  Study-related ultrasounds, MRIs and labwork are provided at no cost, and up to $1,250.00 is provided for time and travel.  This study is taking place at our Dallas office at 635 @ Webb Chapel.  Call 972-4-DOCTOR (436-2867) for information.

  • Are you no longer turned on when the lights turn off?  A medical research study for women who have lost their sexual desire   If you’re a woman at least 30 years of age, you may not realize your lack of interest in sex might be a common medical disorder. You are invited to see if you qualify for a medical research study. To qualify, you must have gone through menopause or had your ovaries removed. The purpose of the study is to determine the safety and effectiveness of LibiGel®, an investigational medication for Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD). Call 972-4-DOCTOR (436-2867).
    • Menstrual Migraine Research Study – This clinical research study is evaluating the effectiveness of an investigational birth control pill for treating menstrually-related migraine headaches (headaches that occur just before or during the first few days of your menstrual period). Women 18 to 34 years of age who meet the study criteria may qualify.  This study is approximately 20 weeks long with 5 study visits and compares an investigational drug to placebo, a look alike drug that does not have any active medicine.  Although the investigational drug is a birth control pill, the purpose of this study is not to prevent pregnancy, so you must be willing to use a non-hormonal form of birth control for the duration of the study.  You will have a 50/50 chance of receiving the investigational birth control pill.  This study is enrolling at our Dallas office at 635/Webb Chapel. Participants may receive up to $325.00 for time and travel. To see if you may qualify for this study, call Research Across America at 972-4-DOCTOR (436-2867).
