Current Studies for Santa Ana include:
Pediatric Fibromyalgia: Do the painful symptoms of fibromyalgia isolate your child from everyday activities? Children with fibromyalgia may experience significant pain, suffering, and disability which often results in loss of function, feelings of isolation and decreased quality of life.
Medical researchers are enrolling children in a clinical study for the treatment of fibromyalgia. Participants will be seen by a study physician who understands fibromyalgia for the duration of the study. If your child takes part in this research study, they will attend 6 clinic visits over a 17-week period. If qualified, your child will receive the study medication or placebo (an inactive look-alike pill) and study-related care at no cost. You may also be compensated for time and travel.
Study participants must:
- be 12 - 16 years of age
- be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- experience widespread pain for 3 or more months
- meet all study criteria

Adult Fibromyalgia: Do you suffer from the pain of Fibromyalgia?
The symptoms of Fibromyalgia can be debilitating. The pain, stiffness and fatigue can greatly impact the quality of your life. We are conducting a research study of a once daily investigational formula of an approved medication for Fibromyalgia.
You may qualify for this study if:
- You are male or female, age 18 years or older
- You have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia or are experiencing widespread persistent pain.

Rosacea Research
- Persistent redness that looks like a blush
- Pimples without blackheads
- Small visible blood vessels
- Bumps on the nose/cheeks and/or raised scaly red patches
- Symptoms of facial burning and stinging
If you suffer from Rosacea (Papulopustular), you may qualify to participate in a clinical research study of an investigational topical study drug.

Do you have Fibromyalgia & Depression? If so, you may qualify to participate in a research study to receive an investigational study medication or placebo.
Eligible candidates must:
- Have a diagnosis or painful symptoms of Fibromyalgia
- Be currently taking an anti-depressant medication
- Be able to attend at least 10 office visits & 4 telephone visits over a 19-week period.
