The Biography of
JOE BLUMENAU, M.D., F.A.A.F.P.

JOE BLUMENAU, M.D., F.A.A.F.P. is a full-time research physician who has conducted over 100 clinical trials with Research Across America. Before directing his full-time efforts to medical research, Dr. Blumenau had a successful and well-established family practice in the North Dallas Area.

His comprehensive experience in all branches of medicine have allowed him to conduct clinical trials in multiple therapeutic areas. Dr. Blumenau’s clinical trial experience includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

The Biography of
NANCY G. CAMPBELL, M.D.

Dr. Campbell is the Medical Director and Principal Investigator at Research Across America’s 6th dedicated clinical research site in Houston/Katy, Texas.

Dr. Campbell is a Family Medicine physician who has extensive experience conducting multispecialty clinical trials for over 12 years and has conducted over 125 clinical trials.

Dr. Campbell has over 10 years experience as a cardiovascular registered nurse prior to her 10 years experience in private practice in Family medicine and as faculty teaching Family Medicine residents. For the last 10 years, she has been conducting clinical trials full time as Medical Director and Principal Investigator of a dedicated clinical research site.

Dr. Campbell’s multispecialty clinical trial experience includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

GERALD SIGMAN, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., F.R.C.S.


Dr. Sigman is an OB/GYN who has been a part of a trusted women’s health, medical practice in the North Dallas area. He has also been working as a research physician on numerous women’s studies in partnership with Research Across America.

Dr. Sigman’s many years as a dedicated women’s health physician have afforded him the expertise and the opportunity to conduct clinical trials in many specialty areas for females. Dr. Sigman’s clinical trial experience includes, but is not limited to, the following women’s health areas:

Female Sexual Arousal Disorder (FSAD) Pre-Menstrual Syndrome (PMS)

BIOGRAPHY OF
JACK DAVID SEIDEL, M.D.

Jack David Seidel, M.D. is the Director of Pediatric Research at Research Across America and
has conducted dozens of clinical research studies involving children. He has been in private practice specializing in infants, children, and adolescents in North Dallas since 1990. Dr. Seidel is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Texas Southwestern
Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He has been Chief of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern University Hospital-St. Paul since 1995. In 1997 Dr. Seidel helped found the pediatric nurse triage system for Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and was its medical director from 1997 to 2005. In 2005 Dr. Seidel transitioned the program to Medical City Children’s Hospital where he remains the Medical Director of Pediatric Phone Triage.

Dr. Seidel has been conducting clinical trials in multiple therapeutic areas for infants, toddlers and teenagers since 1995. Examples of some of the pediatric therapeutic areas include, but are not limited to:

SERGIO IBARRA M.D.


Dr. Ibarra operates and owns a busy, state-of-the-art urgent care facility where he conducts clinical trials with Research Across America. He also holds an exclusive contract with the University of El Paso to treat students as needed and works in the local El Paso hospital Emergency Room.

Dr. Ibara’s enthusiasm and dedication to research have proven him to be an excellent investigator, as he strives for high quality patient care. His clinical trial experience over the last three years with Research Across America includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

MICHAEL W. WARREN, MD

Dr. Warren has conducted clinical trials for Research Across America for more than a decade. He has been in clinical practice since 1986 and serves as President of a multi-therapeutic physician group practice network. Dr. Warren’s clinical trial experience spans a variety of therapeutic areas including, but not limited to:

GLENN S. CORBIN, OD


Dr. Corbin has been conducting ophthalmic clinical research for more than 16 years. He serves as Financial Officer for our Pennsylvania site and as an advisor for ophthalmic studies conducted at Research Across America. Dr. Corbin is the President of a full-time multi-doctor eye care practice in Reading, Pennsylvania, where he provides comprehensive vision and medical eye care services. His practice is a natural resource for research patients. Dr. Corbin has conducted clinical trials in a number of therapeutic areas (medications and/or devices) including, but not limited to:

Ocular Allergy
Ocular Infection
Glaucoma
Dry Eye
Contact Lens Care
Ocular Inflammation

A well respected national lecturer, Dr. Corbin speaks to professional audiences providing continuing education. He has authored numerous professional journal articles and has contributed to several textbooks. Dr. Corbin is a member of the Consulting Medical Staff at HealthSouth Reading Rehabilitation Hospital, serves on the Adjunct Faculty at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia and is a member of the Editorial Review Board for Review of Optometry, a national journal.

MOIZ M. CARIM, MD

Dr. Carim has been a Clinical Investigator for Research Across America for more than 15 years. He owns and manages a multi-specialty group ophthalmology practice in Reading, Pennsylvania. As a fellowship trained vitreo-retinal specialist, Dr. Carim has been afforded numerous research opportunities in the following areas:

Diabetic Retinopathy
Retinal Devices

Dr. Carim serves as a Clinical Associate on the faculty at University of Pennsylvania. Having general ophthalmologists and optometrists in his practice, Dr. Carim can conduct ophthalmic clinical trials in a variety of specialty areas.

JEFFREY G. STEWART, MD

JEFFREY G. STEWART, MD is the primary investigator for Research Across America in Carrollton TX. In 1984 he graduated with honors from Baylor University in Waco TX with a BA in biology. He graduated from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX in 1988. Upon completing the McLennan Co. Family Practice Residency Program in 1991, Dr. Stewart joined Family Medicine Associates of Texas, P.A. in Carrollton TX.
Dr. Stewart’s clinical trial experience includes the following areas:

Acute Sinusitis
Pediatric Allergies
Gastro-Intestinal
Hypertension
Diabetes

Dr. Stewart is an active member of the: American Academy of Family Practice, Texas Medical Association, Dallas County Medical Society, Texas Academy of Family Practice and Dallas Academy of Family Practice. He is also certified with the American Board of Family Practice.
