• Do you have Osteoarthritis of the Knee?
- A research study is being conducted for an
investigational medication for people in pain from arthritis
of the knee. You may be eligible to take part in this research
study if you:
• Are age 40 or older
• Have moderate to severe chronic pain due to osteoarthritis
of the knee
Qualified participants will receive all study related medical
care at no charge, including office visits, laboratory services,
and study medication or placebo. You may be compensated
for your study related time and travel.

RESEARCH STUDY – OSTEOARTHRITIS
OF THE KNEE
Research Across America is enrolling patients in a medical
research study of an investigational medication for the
treatment of Osteoarthritis (OA) pain of the knee.
• At least 18 years of age with OA knee pain in both
knees
• Taking pain medication for your knee pain
• No other serious or uncontrolled medical problems
• Study-related medical care, including lab work,
and investigational medication are provided
• 6 office visits, with compensation available for
time and travel

• Individuals with High Cholesterol
Needed for a Clinical Research Trial - Have
you been told you have high cholesterol, or do you think
your cholesterol might be high? If so, and you are 18 to
79 years old, you may qualify for a medical research study
to test an investigational use of a marketed medication
to treat high cholesterol. Participants in the study will
receive study medication, study related physician visits,
lab work, and reimbursement for study travel. For Further

• Do You Have Type 2 Diabetes? –
Even with proper diet and plenty of exercise, keeping your
blood sugar under control can still be challenging. If you
have Type 2 Diabetes, you may be eligible for a research
study of an investigational oral medication. You may qualify
for this study if you:
• Are 18 years of age or older
• Are not dosing any oral anti-hyperglycemic medications
(AHA) or insulin to control your diabetes
• Have been told that your blood sugar is too high
If you qualify, you will receive study-related care and

2 Diabetes!
• Is diet and exercise not controlling your blood
sugar?
• Considering antihyperglycemic medication (AHA)?
Learning to live with this chronic
